My room is not a kingdom, I don't have thrones that I reserve for myself and Her Imperial Majesty, my consort. My players aren't family. We don't want slaves or pets.
My goodness! you say, what else is there?
Well, if you read my room description, you will see that it is an Underdark, drow RP room. If those words are foreign to you, look them up. But don't just bring your Digimon character in to play with us.
Don't tell me your character is more powerful than the god my character is a novice priest of, and can walk right in.
Don't tell me your angel / dragon / fairy-princess / transformer / ninja turtle / what have you makes sense in my setting. I decide what makes sense in my setting.
If I ask you to check the setting info available on my web profile page, I mean for you to do it now, or at any rate before you start playing.
If I tell you where to find the setting and the rules described, don't tell me you are too lazy to check and ask me to explain the setting to you. If I could describe the City of Pits and Spires to you in a few short lines, it would be the room description. If it isn't, please go read it where I have it publically posted.
My setting is in a cave. It isn't raining outside. Outside is underground.
If my profile card says that I am Gay, then I probably am not going to respond to a female hitting on me. So, don't. Even if this were that kind of chat room, which it isn't. Capiche?
End of rant, until the next jaw-droppingly thoughtless, stupid or clueless visitor drops by.
